Enjoy performances and make friends at this year-end party.

There will be simple dishes handmade by our internationally diverse staff. Performances will include folk dances from Myanmar, songs from The Philippines, work songs from Hokkaido, and magic shows.

Put on a yukata and let’s perform the “Sakura” dance! Learn the basics, including movements and how to use the fan. Beginners are welcome. Have fun learning Japanese etiquette and how to wear a kimono.

Experience Japan’s traditional performing arts!
~Event for foreigners to enjoy Japanese dance and music~

Enjoy Japanese dance, street performances, the sounds of traditional instruments, and more at the Resident Cultural Festival “A Gathering of Japanese Pastimes” stage.
Enjoy traditional performing arts, which are often inaccessible, with programs in English, Chinese, and Korean. The event is packed with activities! You can even participate in group dance sessions. Anyone can participate so please bring your friends and family!

The International Salon is an event held once a month by volunteers where foreigners and Japanese can meet and interact freely over a cup of tea. It is a chance to discover new cultures and make friends from all around the world!

A chance to stop pestering your friends and ask a real lawyer for once! Consult about problems you are facing in daily life such as visas/immigration, health insurance and pensions. Interpreting volunteers will be on hand to help you out, so you can use this service even if you do not speak Japanese.
